Afternoon Tea in Kendall Square: Tatte Bakery

23 Nov

With desserts that look this good, it’s no wonder that  Tatte Bakery in Kendall Square, Cambridge, is busy. One afternoon, I wanted to drop by their Third Street location to pick up a cup of Stumptown coffee to go, but there was a line out the door, so I kept on walking. The other two times I’ve been to Tatte, I’ve always managed to find a seat.  Prepare to salivate as you view these delicious treats!

A pistachio and cherry tart. It’s rich enough to share, but it’s so good,  I ate the whole piece myself!DSC00800

Tatte is known for its signature nut boxes: Delicious whole nuts in a thick and crunchy shortbread box. You can get a little individual box like this one, or a foot-long tart to share!DSC00801
